What is H.O.P.E?
H.O.P.E.- Health, Outreach, Prevention & Education- is Caballero Medical Cente's commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind when it comes to healthcare.
We recognize that many individuals face barriers such as limited mobility, financial hardship, or lack of access to consistent medical medical services. H.O.P.E. bridges that gap by taking healthcare directly into communities, homes, and underserved areas.

Why This Work Matters
Access to healthcare should never depend on income, mobility, or location.
Across Jamaica, many individuals delay or completely forgo medical care due to barriers beyond their control. This leads to worsening conditions, preventable complications, and unnecessary suffering.
H.O.P.E. exist to change that reality-by meeting patients where they are and delivering care with dignity, compassion, and consistency.

The H.O.P.E Initiative (Health, Outreach, Prevention & Education) was designed to assist those who are most in need throughout central Jamaica access healthcare at home, in their communities, or at our medical centre. Each donation assists persons with low to no mobility, the vulnerable and the poorest among us access healthcare. Every donation counts. Health
Our focus is on taking healthcare to those who are immobile both physically and financially. We do this by going into the communities and homes of these individual to administer medical care. This aspect also includes those who can make it to our office but are not able to afford the care. While healthcare is free at hospitals and clinics these patients are not physically able to handle the wait time.
Prevention
Prevention is an important branch of medicine and we take it seriously. Within our outreach we administer Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) tests, Pap Smears, CBCs, U & E, Glucose Random, Lipid Profile among other preventative tests.
Education
We host and promote health initiatives, presentations, demonstrations and workshops at churches, schools, social organizations, corporate events and community groups on overall health and wellness. Education about health and prevention is an essential part of adapting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Outreach
Our goal is reach the under-served and disenfranchised members of our communities. We will accomplish this by curating community-based outreach project across Jamaica.
